We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family in the area in April. It is a shame that the hotel has become run-down because the area is lovely. The staff were very helpful and made up for some of the difficulties there were, such as the generator working for only a few hours a night. Elizabeth and her staff tried their best for us and we were grateful for her letting us access the internet via her own laptop, she went to a lot of trouble to make our stay good. I can see why the service and situation might frustrate our US cousins but as a Brit used to Africa and how things happen there I felt the place had charm for all the failings.
